This piece has a 1907 patent date. I could find a number of Young American Rapid Fire Guns on the web, but only could find a few of the Campbells. I believe it is much rarer than the Young American. This toy measures approximately 15 1/4 long.

I would consider it to be in very good condition. The cast iron is in great shape. The spring is strong, and it appears to work fine. The toy is missing a small screw and nut at the end of the barrel, and a longer one by the axel.

It doesn't look broken, but doesn't work either. A scarce old toy, in very nice shape for your collection. The photos are an integral part of my description. They will give an accurate representation, and best tell the story. View all pics following my description.
