Antique MARX TOY Camo 50 Cal. Machine Gun RAT-TAT-TAT Works! PLEASE READ

  

This is a toy and CANNOT be modified to shoot anything at all. The item is in good condition for its age with some wear/scuffs.

The tip of the orange part on the gun has a very small crack in it. The original three tripod legs are included as well (one is missing a foot with the end squeezed/compressed). The legs have some oxidation on them. The electronic Rat Tat Tat movement and light do work with 2 D batteries (not included; see picture for light), however one of the battery terminals is rusted and damaged/broken off. The way I got the electronics to work is to attach a wire from the end of the rear most battery with a piece of cardboard wedge in there so they don't shift when the toy is positioned.

Then with the wire, I taped it with masking tape to the rearmost metal contact underneath the region where the lightbulb is. To turn it off, I just disconnect the wire.
