Huge c. 1960 Nichols Full Dealer's Display Sales Board with all 7 Cap Gun Pistols

This is a great c. 1960 diecast cap gun Dealer Display Saleman's Board that was made by Nichols. This is an incredible display that features 7 nickel-plated die-cast cap guns along with 2 clips of play bullets! These guns are still mounted onto the board with their original leather straps! The clips and Dynamite Derringer are mounted to the board with tacks. The board itself measures 14" x 24" and has three finger holes at the top for carrying. This display consists of the following cap pistols with condition as noted: 1. Colt Special - has corrosion in the chamber and plating wear, spring does not always catch.

Pony - has some plating wear, trigger and hammer work. Stallion 22 - has plating wear, no play bullets, hammer cocks back and cykinder rotates when trigger is pulled.

Stallion 38 - still has the 6 play bullets but 1 is missing the brass casing, cylinder rotates when trigger is pulled, leather strap at barrel end to hold onto board is broken. Stallion 32 - no play bullets in gun (mounted on strip to board), right grip as shown has cracked and is missing pieces along the edge, spring doesn't work. Stallion 45 Mark II - no play bullets in gun (mounted to strip on board), grips are cracked, right grip displayed falls off as does the Nichols emblem on grip, hammer works when trigger is pulled but cylinder doesn't rotate. Dynamite - derringer in plastic holster belt clip with 2 play bullets, right grip is missing and hammer doesn't catch. Also mounted to the board are one full clip of 2-part firing toy bullets for the Stallion 45, and one full clip of 2-part cap firing toy bullets for the Stallion 32. The board is marked with the Nichols logo in the upper left, has the names of the guns marked in their places, and has a COMMENDED - PARENTS MAGAZINE Logo on the upper right of the board! These Dealer Boards rarely come up for sale! CONDITION: The TOY cap guns all have wear and various issues as mentioned above, but still look great on the board. The wooden board itself has some age with some splits at the corners, and a chunk missing from the lower left corner. The original leather straps have dried some and the barrel strap on the Stallion 38 has broken apart. This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug. Get images that make Supersized seem small.
