Lost In Space Remco 1960s Battery Operated Toy Vintage Ray Gun Pistol

  

I believe this is a LOST IN SPACE GUN or possibly LAND OF THE GIANTS. Trigger does not appear to be activating any action. There is a dial at the end of the barrel to change the color of the light that should activate when the trigger is pulled. There is a red and a green film.

The other two slots are empty. Do not know what original state was supposed to be. The rear sight is missing. Battery compartment needs cleaning to properly test. Remco Made in New Jersey USA.
