This is a cool piece of history for all you baby boomers who want to recapture your past. Most of the last 55+ years this toy was stored in an attic (actually several attics). The bullet ejection rod works as it should, and the loading gate is tight. There is enough snap on the hammer to successfully fire the cap loaded in the two piece bullets (as originally marked on box - "Super Safe - Cartridge Contained Flash").

There are no chips on either pair of grips, but I personally think the white pearl grips have always looked much nicer than the black grips. The box has a couple loose corners and certainly shows its age, but it has done a decent job in storing this pistol all these years.
