Stunning 1959 Vintage Hubley The Rifleman Tv Show Flip Special Cap Gun Rifle

  

It has been in my possession for 55+ years. I was a big fan of the Rifleman show with Chuck Conners when I was growing up.

There are a lot of good play hours in this rifle. The rifle is in very good condition. However, in the interest of full disclosure I would not be true to Lucas McCain if I did not tell you this. There has always been a problem with the cap chamber and engaging the big ring firing handle. I played with this rifle and it always did this.

For as long as I have owned it, the cap chamber opens when the ring lever is operated to "fire" the gun. The action works as it should. You operate the lever, the firing bar slides back, you close the lever, and the hammer "fires" on the slide and cap. When you press a button on side of rifle the cap chamber opens. There are some scuffs and scratches.

It is in really good condition. This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug.
