Unfired Rare Dummy Actoy Lone Ranger cap gun toy pistol
This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug. I only know of the existence of two of these. I didn't know they made a Dummy Lone Ranger (Actoy) cap gun until I received this one. Condition is very good for its age with some patina but still a lot of shiny Antique bronze finish. The gun is solid and stays closed when fired and it fires with a strong snap. It cannot fire caps because the hammer anvil is shaped like a T and its side flaps will only hit the side of the guns frame and leave a 1/4 gap between the hammer and strike plate. To close the gun you actually have to pull the hammer back to lock the gun in place. The trigger guard shows a little corrosion and uneven patina otherwise I would call this gun near mint for its age.
The white stag grips are very nice with no chips or cracks I can see. If you like the "one of a kind" or rare version then this is for you as you may never see one like this again.
