Marklin long running clockwork motor with long shaft c1900. Very difficult to find, especially with a long winding shaft. This is as powerful as the earlier larger marklin motor. It powers boats 16 inches and up and this particular one came out of a 30 inch boat. I don't have a key, but it is not a particularly wide diameter winding shaft and is not difficult to get a key to match.

The motor works well as shown in the video. Someone has soldered an improvised connector on the end of the shaft but if this is of no use it can easily be removed. Video will open in a new window. Its gearing makes it more difficult to turn than the larger motor and its contained spring allows it to be used in narrower hulls especially battleships and torpedo boats.

It is pictured in a 20 inch Prince Leopold from about 1900. Baseplate is 6cm on its widest and 9 cm long. The top of the winding shaft is 5 cm above the top plate of the motor. This is very useful as for many boats - it is possible to use a none-Marklin and shorter shafted key. Otherwise the dimensions are as shown in the images.
