It is a perfect miniature of this famous gun, and operates just like the full sized weapon, even to the tiny revolving cylinder with six chambers, loading gate, side rod ejector, half and full cock, etc. Miniature brass blank cartridges are fired with a loud report and smoke.
These are much nicer than just a toy, but not a true miniature. Manufactured in the 1950's this gun produced by the American Miniature Gun Mfg. Based in Hollywood, California, is more functional than the very best of toy miniatures from this period.
