Vintage Original 1950's Hopalong Cassidy Cap Gun With Leather Holster and Belt. This toy gun is marked Geo.

Los Angeles, 21, Calif, Made In USA. The story behind this toy cap is that my neighbor who has lived in the same house her entire life entered a contest in the Boston Globe and she had to write a story and send it in. Her prize was this cap gun and holster.

It wasn't her kind of toy, so she put it away. We pulled if from her attic recently and the box was in bad condition. Not believing it was worth anything, she thew the box away that evening and held the cap gun for me until I came back later that week.

Both toy gun and holster are in excellent condition. Address to circumvent the International block. Although quick payments are appreciated, I understand that unforeseen circumstances sometime lead to delayed payments. As a general rule, I will hold an item for 10 days before relisting, however, I have been known to hold items longer for buyers who contact me with a promise to pay within a certain time frame. Just a note that what appears to be discoloration on the black part of the hand grips is actually reflection from the camera flash. The hand grips are not discolored.
