1950s Hubley Flintlock Jr. Toy Cap Gun with Box Die Cast Metal Pirate Style

  

CAP GUN TOY - 1950s Hubley Mfg. 7.5" x 3.25". Die cast metal & plastic.

This "pirate / dueling style" toy pistol is the single barreled variety with a brown swirl plastic handle and ornate metal barrel, hammer and trigger. Trigger and hammer are still operable. The toy appears to be in good working order. Hubley is well known for their sturdy, durable line of quality toy products.

Notably, also included is the original graphic box (7.75" x 3" x 1.25). The two-color imagery is excellent on both sides.

An outstanding example with great eye appeal. Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/scuff/stain wear.

TOY appears to have most of its original plating. It appears relatively clean and in working order. Plastic housing has mild seam separation, most evident at trigger area. Mild scuff wear with no plastic cracks apparent. Metal parts show no signs of oxidation. BOX has a nice clean appearance with mild surface/corner creasing and several small edge / side tears largest tear is approx. End flaps are still intact with minimal edge separation. Overall, we feel this toy is a very displayable example by most standards (see photos).
