Antique very rare tin toy BTR with a gun Armored personnel carrier USSR. "Armored Carrier with a Gun" was produced at the Lviv Motor Loaders Plant of the Ministry of Automobile Industry of the USSR.

This toy is a metal toy consisting of a "Armored Carrier" and "Cannon". The "Cannon" is approved as a separate toy by the Artistic and Technical Council on Toy Affairs under the Ministry of Education of the Ukrainian SSR by Protocol No. 45 of December 12, 1967. "Armored Transporter" is a metal mobile toy on 4 wheels, capable of transporting military equipment.

The body of the "Armored Transporter" is a welded metal structure. The vehicle's body is equipped with a number of shapes that mimic the components of a real combat vehicle. On the front of the hull there are blinds for air intake and exhaust, headlights, windows and cable holes. At the back of the case there is a box for shank tools, stop signals. A transport hook is welded to the rear wall.

On the top of the case there is a hatch with a closing cover. The hatch cover is hinged to the hatch body. Opening and closing of the hatch is optional. When the hatch is opened, the plastic figure of the crew commander reinforced on the bottom of the hatch rises, and when the hatch is closed, it hides.

The wheels are attached to the axles passing through the hull of the machine. The "Gun" is a metal mobile shooting toy, imitating a battle cannon on a two-wheeled carriage. The toy consists of a carriage, a hull, a barrel, a mechanism with a striker and wheels.

The carriage is a platform, the front part of which ends with a shield with a window, the rear part - with a sliding frame, connected to the carriage platform by means of rivets. Sliding frames at the ends have holes for transporting the cannon.

The gun body is reinforced in the center of the carriage and there are four holes on the sides for projectiles. The barrel housing is fitted with a spring-loaded hull ending with a handle on the outside. A trigger is located on the right side of the hull. The two cannon wheels are mounted on an axle that runs through the body. Overall dimensions of the Cannon are 290x125x105 mm. The date of approval of this set consisting of the "Armored Transporter" and "Cannon" is July 4, 1968. I t is known that in 1988 the production of these toys was completely stopped. The emblem of the plant which is present on these toys looks like three capital letters "LZA". It's true rare even in the country of the former Soviet Union!! There is no right plastic headlight on the armoured personnel carrier. The condition is almost perfect for toys of the last century. See real photo for details.
