VINTAGE LONE STAR DCMT SPACE RANGER DIECAST METAL RAY GUN - RARE. Cap chamber opens perfectly and trigger works perfect. Lone Star used this exact mould for various other toy guns from the 1950's and 1960's, most notably Stingray and Dan Dare versions. We have a couple of the Stingray version available, as well as this one.

This'Space Ranger' version is said to date from 1960. The original paintwork to this is superb. There is one small dent to the lower right side of the toy and some scuffs on the left top side.

Also has a few other smaller scuffs and scratches, some around the handle and the most obvious chips are to the edges of the white end. Overall, a stunning example worthy of any collection or museum even! This is a very rare toy dating from around the 1960's. It has'Space Rangers' and'Lone Star Product' detail to sides, these are exceptionally rare in any condition but this is a stunning original example in great condition for its age.
