Always please ask if you are not sure. Here is a working wonderful vintage toy gun from the early 1950s. It is the mega rare and hard to find G-MAN model Sub-machine Gun made by Louis Marx.
This is the fabulous Tinplate Lithograph mixed with yellow and red bakelite type plastic. This Machine Gun is working and firing well, once wound up the clockwork mechanism unwinds with the loud clattering submachine gun noise. The sparking mechanism is currently not sparking. The lithography paintwork is largely in very good to excellent condition with only minor marks and most of the lithography is excellent. The red plastic stock is pretty fantastic and the trigger mechanism appears to be working well. The yellow plastic front handle and barrel is mostly excellent but there is a small piece broken off where the tinplate meets the plastic, please see last photo close-ups.
The yellow plastic handle is also slightly loose as the four fixings aren't terribly good at keeping it tightly fitted. The red plastic barrel end has a piece broken that has been re glued in place, please see last photo close-ups. A rare classic toy from this grand era of toy gun manufacturing and in good condition with the wind-up firing mechanism still working fine. An extremely rare vintage toy gun and fantastic to be working and in such great condition and it would be a fantastic addition to anyone's vintage toy gun collection, maybe the Crown Jewel as it was in mine.
