This offering is for an antique circa 1890's cast iron toy cap gun. The gun is a toy and does not fire projectiles and can not be made to do so. This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug. " That said the gun was made by Stevens in the late 19th century and is marked "RANGER on one side.

The overall length is app. 8 and the condition is very nice. The mechanism is connected, when you pull the hammer back the trigger moves with it.

However, it will not stay cocked. There is also minor wear and loss the the nickel plated surface as seen in our photo's.

There is also a bit of minor scattered surface rust that we have not attempted to clean. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs.
