Rare Antique 18 George Carette Gun Boat Tin Clockwork 18 Toy Ship Working

This piece measures 18 in length and is hand painted in gray and white with a German flag flying at the rear. Nicely detailed piece with the original railing intact. Wind up post with unique key through center stack.

Rudder marked "Made In Germany". In good condition considering age. Mechanism works to turn propeller swiftly.

Shows slight fading with a few light scratches and some small chips to paint but toy is still colorful and bright. Shows light oxidation on underside of stand. Otherwise a nice antique piece that displays very well.
