NICE EARLY MODEL GUN BOAT..... D MARKS, BUT DEFINITELY MADE IN GERMANY. CARETTE , FLEISCHMANN OR SIMILAR QUALITY MAKER. 26 cm or just over 10 inches. INTERNAL CLOCKWORK / WIND UP MECHANISM.......
Unusually, it still turns and with a careful winding it will spin the rear prop shaft. (the original "smoke cloud " key-winder is included, just wants crimping on the funnel winding shaft). TRIPLE TONE FINISH IN BLACK & GREY, WITH REDDISH ORANGE DECK.
The old vessel is in as found state, with a century or so of age / play wear....... Including surface chips, flaking, scuffs, scratches etc... Missing components, including rear propeller / rudder. Underside front stand strip is still present. ENJOY IT AS IT IS OR PERHAPS RESTORE IT? (please see all the images for actual condition). NOT A MODERN ITEM OR REPRODUCTION.
