The Gun is complete, with no damage nor pieces missing. Other than the clear plastic cover, at the front of the gun, having some scratch/"scuff" marks, the ray gun is in "Mint" condition (10/10). It comes complete with the the original instruction sheet. This has some "foxing" marks but overall it is in "Excellent plus" condition (8.5/10). Moving onto the cardboard insert that houses the ray gun, this has one small tag that is close to being torn off (see photo) and needs strengthening.

Other than this minor damage, the cardboard insert is in "Excellent plus" to "Near Mint" condition (9 to 9.5/10 - the best I have seen). Regarding the main box and starting with the lid, this has had an extremely neat repair to the artwork on the the top right-hand corner (above the letter "E" in "Dare" and slightly to the right - examine photo, a further close-up photo is available upon request). Keeping with the lid, there is a 2.5 inch crease extending from the left-hand corner (not easily noticeable). Apart from the observations referred to, the condition of the box lid is in every other respect "Excellent plus" approaching "Near Mint" in many parts (8.5 to 9.5/10). The artwork is "Magnificent", with the colours being as bright as "When New". Finally, regarding the base of the box, this is "bowed" at the bottom and has the original price written in pencil (5 shillings and 1.5 pence). Otherwise the base is in "Near Mint" condition.
