VINTAGE 1950s-1960s NICHOLS PINTO WESTERN CAP GUN TURQUOISE PISTOL N. MINT w BOX

  

This is a vintage toy cap gun made in the fifties or sixties. It is a MINIATURE pistol that measures 3 & 3/4 inches long. The toy gun NEAR MINT. I'm not sure it was ever fired. If it WAS fired, probably only once or twice!

It comes in the original box, which reads: Flip Out... " A foil label, on the top of the box, reads: "GOLDEN TONE PRESENTATION MODEL... The contents include the SMALL pistol, (which has turquoise colored plastic grips) a turquoise colored plastic holster, and 3 toy bullets. There are 2 bullets in the holster, and a third inside the cylinder. When you press a lever under the barrel, you can clip out the cylinder, to reload. Also includes the original EMPTY Nichols Stallion Round Caps. " The inner bottom of the box is marked (in part): "For re-conditioning, return with 35 Cents to: Customer Service, Circle N. The BOX is in VERY GOOD condition.

It has no writing, punctures or split corners, just some soiling to the box top. I've has a few of these "PINTO" cap guns over the years, but THIS is the FIRST time I've had a TURQUOISE example.
