Vintage GENE AUTRY Holsters & SPURS Set FLYING A Ranch COWBOY Toys WESTERN TOY

  

Here we a have a fantastic Vintage Original Gene Autry Flying A Ranch Toy Holster belt and a set of Toy Spurs. The gentleman that I bought it off years ago was the original owner and received it as a present when he was a child in the 1950's (he couldn't recall the exact year). There are NO CAP GUNS with this set. It is just the Holster Belt and Spurs. The Holsters have the embossed mark of Gene Autry and the Flying A Ranch.

It has 5 plastic bullets. The Spurs have no markings but they are kids size and the original owner said they came together when he got them. The leather is nice and thick and is still fairly flexible. It does have a little cracking right where the embossed Flying A Ranch mark in the middle is.

It was stored folded in half for years so that might be the cause for that. It is just on the surface and could probably be cured with some leather softening rub. It does have one smaller edge tear near one of the rivets.

I have taken a photo with my finger pointing to the tear to give you an idea of size. Some of the small rivets and big star rivets have some tarnish and rust. The jewels are still attached, but do have some scuffs. The buckle is in great shape, still very shiny.

The spurs are in great shape with no major damage or wear. They spin freely and the original chains are still attached. Over all this is a great set with the kind of honest use and age appropriate wear for a toy of this age. I have taken lots of pictures for you to be able to judge condition for yourself. What you see in the pictures is what you will be receiving. These are getting harder and harder to find over the years. Would make a great gift for any Cowboy or Western Toy Collector.
