Kenton "Lawmaker" Cast Iron Cowboy Toy Cap Gun Pistol Painted Silver Finish Mint In Box. Made by Kenton Hardware Co. Painted silver finish Cast Iron. This prewar roll cap firing cast iron cap gun was issued in 2 versions, one in nickel finish and one in a painted silver finish (this version).

There are no other versions and it was not issued after the war years. This gun has what is called a "friction break", meaning that it requires no release lever to open it. It is simply held together by the tightness of the 2 halves and can simply be opened by gently forcing it open. This gun has never been fired or played with and is tight.

The painted finish is very clean and only has minor rubs(scuffs) on both side of the cylinder from contact with the box. The white plastic grips with a raised cowboy hat and branding iron on both sides are in perfect condition with no cracks, breaks or scuffs. The flaps box has minor wear but a clean front and back panels and will display well. It has a small hole on one end and is 1missing tab. One tab on the other end is detached (see photos).
