Vintage Parris-Dunn NON FIRING Trainer, 1943

  
This is a 1943 U. Navy contract for a " NON FIRING" Dummy Training Rifle, from the Parris-Dunn Corp. This Mark 1 USN Trainer comes complete with the military style Leather Sling and. The USN Mk 1 training Bayonet with Scabbard.

The Rear sight, Bolt and Trigger work Great; cocks and clicks. The Rear sight elevator works and is all complete. The sling & scabbard are Repros. Note:Some of these rifles were also used as movie props, in the 1949 Humphrey Bogart movie "Tokyo Joe".

This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug. This toy gun was not made to fire a projectile and cannot be modified to fire bullets, ammunition, or lethal projectiles of any kind.
