Vtg. Hopalong Cassidy Toy Wyandotte Cap Gun & Leather Holster With Embellishment

  
This replica gun contains the colored markings required by law, including a permanently attached orange plug. For sale is a vintage 1950's Hopalong Cassidy Gun and Holster display set. The gun is a 1955, Single Shot, Hopalong Cassidy toy 8 Wyandotte cap gun with Hoppy's signature in dots, as if shot by bullet holes on both grips. This rare Hopalong Cassidy gun is in excellent working condition.

The trigger mechanism works as it should. One of the grips has a very small corner piece missing (as can be seen in photos).

Also included is a vintage 1950's Hopalong Cassidy black leather holster with round metal studs and a metal "Steer Concho" with white leather embellishments. The holster has been reconstructed from a vintage Hopalong Cassidy holster and belt that was in very poor condition.

The holster has been rebuilt and strengthened utilizing parts of the original holster and belt. The top leather piece with Hopalong Cassidy in silver lettering is a glued piece from the original belt. There are two other small leather pieces glued to give strength to the top portion of the holster (as can be seen in photos).

The felt on the back of the holster has been re-glued for added strength. The holster measures approximately 9.5 in length. This vintage set was salvaged and is suggested for display only.
